The PRAGUE CARD is a service package for tourists visiting Prague.

Also included the PRAGUE PASSPORT for free.

The PRAGUE CARD is valid for a whole year including all free- and discount attractions.

The price of the PRAGUE CARD including 48 (2x24) hours free public transport tickets is EUR 32,5 (By purchasing Prague Card & Prague Passport in the Czech Republic the price is CZK 860,-)

From January 2008 in advance order you can alternatively get

72 hours transport ticket ................additional charge EUR 5,-

120 hours transport ticket ..............additional charge EUR 12,-

168 hours transport tickets .............additional charge EUR 20,-

After having cancelled the tickets you can use all public town transport 48, 72, 120 or 168 hours for free.

PRAGUE CARD also includes a separate insurance of the person only developed for PRAGUE CARD Czech Republic visitors.

Personal Liability insurance with injury to persons .......... up to Kč 200,000.- 
Personal Liability insurance with material defect ........... up to Kč 200,000.- 
Legal cost insurance ............................. up to Kč 150,000.- 

Costs and organizing an interpreter, a lawyer on the spot, standing bail, cash assistance, obtaining necessary substitute personal documents (if the original documents were stolen or lost).

Insurance validity and activation

1. The Insurance covers the whole territory of the Czech Republic and is valid for the maximum period of 7 days (i.e. on the day of activation + 6 consecutive calendar days)!

2. Insurance activation

a) By having a Czech border control stamp with a date in the Prague Passport on page 3 when entering the Czech Republic,
b) or - by entering the date into and signing the Prague Card & Prague Passport,
c) or - by stamping the “Prague Card Tickets” for the Prague Public Transport in a orange ticket stamping machine to be found in all public transport.

3. The Insurance is not valid unless one of the above activation methods is applied (Point 2).

That is why you have to keep your ticket in a safe place (not dependent on the period of validity) separated from the PRAGUE PASSPORT. The insurance number of the PRAGUE CARD is on the ticket.

No insurance cover existing, if one of the above mentioned possibilities for activating, isn’t provable.

YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE ! The insurance cover is just valid for a tourist stay and within purely tourist activities. No insurance cover for intentional criminal acts as well as for acts of violence in which taking part could have been avoided.
