EXCHANGE OF MONEYJust for owners of the PRAGUE CARD there is an agreement for an Exchange net rate with some Exchange Offices, paying on an average 6 to 8% more Czech Crowns for currency than any other bank or Exchange Office. When exchanging EUR 500.- you may get about 700 to 1000 Czech Crowns more than in most Exchange Offices or banks !!!!ON’T TRUST THE ADVERTISING OF THE EXCHANGE OFFICES – always ask how much you get in return for your currency!!!! The lure ‘0% commission’ mostly is for the exchange of Czech Crowns into currency. The basic exchange rate that every Exchange Office can fix itself (it can be 15% less than the official exchange rate) is of interest because the Exchange Offices keep a commission of 9%. These Exchange Offices only give a more serious exchange rate from an equivalent of 15.000 Czech Crowns. But there are actually some serious Exchange Offices here and there, where the normal tourist seldom loses his way. PLEASE REALLY BE CAUTIOUS WITH CONFIDENCE TRICKSTERS! NEVER exchange money in the streets, even if the exchange rate seems to be tempting!!!!
